You’ll want to get your hands on everything: touch the faux-leather walls, roll around on the new flaming print carpets, mess around with the fiber optic spotlights. One of the more recent-born Parisian hotels plays with the ‘five senses’ – to great affect, but it doesn’t come cheap. The owners have called upon the services of the most creative designers (Ege, Casadeco, Vescom, DCI, Designers Guild) and Diptyque. The latter relates to the fact that, as well as being able to choose your room, you can select a fragrance to diffuse: only a gimmick, but a pleasant one at that.
